🎓 A good practice from the Faculty of Engineering Management at Bialystok University of Technology ⬇

As part of the E-QUALITY project, which supports the development of modern, high-quality educational programmes and addresses societal challenges, we’re proud to showcase an initiative that bridges the worlds of finance and art.

📍 At the Faculty of Engineering Management (WIZ PB), within the framework of VIA CARPATIA inter-university cooperation project, we regularly organize panels with professionals to inspire students and enhance their career readiness in a broader social and economic context.

🎤 A special guest at one of these panels was renowned sculptor Michał Jackowski, who gave a lecture titled: “Investing in Art: Can Sculpture Be an Investment Product? A Personal Perspective of an Artist and Entrepreneur.”

🖼️ The session addressed topics such as: ✅ the development of the contemporary Polish art market ✅ the growth of art investments (over 60 transactions above 1 million PLN in 2024) ✅ the emerging profession of the art advisor – an expert combining finance, the art market, and investment consulting ✅ the role of art in building competitive advantage and cultural capital

💡 This event illustrated how modern higher education should: 🔹 connect diverse fields of knowledge 🔹 open students to new career paths 🔹 promote interdisciplinarity as a key element of quality education

🌐 The E-QUALITY project develops innovative, creative, and interactive tools in the field of Higher Education quality assurance, with potential for adaptation across other sectors of training and education. It supports international cooperation and mutual learning among European universities.
